New Fitness Obsession
For all my New Yorker readers, I just have one thing to say: Take a Physique 57 class asap. It is quite possibly the hardest fitness class I’ve ever taken (and I’ve taken a lot), but the most rewarding. All the women in that room were totally ripped—toned, thin, long, lean pillars of muscle. And apparently, you’re supposed to see results in as little as four or five...
Physique 57
I’m always looking for interesting, effective new ways to stay in shape. I love the spin classes at Soul Cycle—they turn off all the lights, light a ton of candles, and turn up the best music, making for a truly atypical, emotionally cathartic, and challenging spin experience.
I also like to take dance classes at Broadway Dance Center. After a jazz or hip-hop class with any one of...

The dialogue (especially Troy’s lines) are so spot-on, true to life, and sharp, that I find myself laughing almost nonstop throughout the film. Dear Bianca,
Thank you for...
Questions for 3 a.m.
I have a question:
Is it possible to stop loving someone once you officially realize that it’s useless to love said person?
This uselessness can come in one of many forms. Some examples are:
a. He/she will never love you back the same way.
b. He/she is not right for you for some practical (and therefore, infuriating) reason.
c. You acknowledge (most likely after an extended period of...
Getting Healthy
Now that I suddenly have massive amounts of free time, I’m determined to invest some energy into getting very healthy again. Good food is so important to me, that it’s difficult for me to eat right sometimes. My mom was a chef while I was growing up, so the love of food was instilled in me from an early age—taste always trumps nutrition. So that means I have to be extra diligent...
Monday Funday
