It’s 10:15 pm and I just got back to my mom’s house after watching my best friend from the 7th grade get married to a wonderful man who looks at her like she’s the only person in the whole wide world. I cried as she was walking down the aisle (but then again, Chase credit card commercials have been known to bring a tear to my eye too).
Anyway, some late-night thoughts:
My friends in NYC are in vastly different places in their lives than my friends in Hawaii. Read: commitment-phobic and still shot-gunning beers and swigging tequila shots in order to reach black-out status as soon as humanly possible (NYC, duh) as opposed to falling in love and settling down (HI).
Maybe love isn’t as scary as I tend to think it is.
I think it’s time to do some weeding.
My jet lag is going to be a bitch when I get back to NYC this week.
I’m desperado for a haircut. (Pasquale at ION Studios is my man if you’re looking for a rec.)
