That’s my brother diving off of a cliff in Waimea Bay on the North Shore today. Clearly, I wasn’t given the same bad-ass gene. The current was so strong today that just swimming in the ocean was a full-body, semi-near-death workout. After a couple of dips, I resigned myself to the sand and my book (Special Topics in Calamity Physics, by Marisha Pessl) and left the daredevil antics to the boys.
