Everyone on the trip seemed to care about the right things—hanging out with friends and good people, having real conversations, “shredding”, and good food. It’s just a different world. Here in NYC, people mostly care about work, making lots of money, what people can do for you, and social status. Make no mistake—I love it here and wouldn’t trade it for anything. But sometimes, I think we’ve got it all wrong.
