1. One of my most favorite things in the world is reading food/cooking magazines and new cookbooks. I love this activity with a passion—almost more than I love cooking. Weird, I know. Because of the two trips I’ve taken in the past couple of weeks, I’ve already read the Feb issues of Food & Wine, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Martha Stewart Living, and Domino (it has a food section!). So today, while picking up lightbulbs and toothpaste in Rite Aid, I threw Everyday with Rachael Ray into my basket even though I have never seen her show, read her cookbooks, or bought her magazine. I love it! She’s like the down-to-earth, hang-with-the-boys version of Martha Stewart (and I LOVE Martha)! The FOB Style sections need some serious help, though.
