I went to see the newly discovered play written by Mark Twain, Is He Dead?, at the Lyceum Theatre on 45th Street last night. Funniest play I’ve seen ever. Norbert Leo Butz was completely extraordinary. I love him! At the end, when the cast was doing their final bow and the entire audience was giving them a standing ovation, I almost got teary-eyed at seeing how exuberant the actors were feeling. I wish I got to feel like that on a nightly basis after work!
