New Year’s Eve inspiration: With most of my friends out of town for the holidays, I’ve been left to my own devices here in cold NYC, and the extra downtime has me sporadically pondering NYE ensemble choices (something usually left to a frantic last-minute run through Barneys, grabbing at anything that sparkles like a magpie). Anyhow, look at Sienna Miller in Alfie. Her character was a certified annoying nutjob of a girl (desperate, much?) but those bangs! That fur! Those earrings! The smudgy black eyeliner! Love.
