Someone gave me this potted orchid as a “welcome home” gift when I got back from the Virgin Islands last Sunday. One of the sweetest things anyone’s done for me in a while. As you can see, it’s still alive and kicking—I’ve been trying to give it plenty of water and sunlight. Isn’t it beautiful? I get happy whenever I look at it.
