I’ve been overindulging in rich, calorific dinners lately and last night was no exception. After a drink with Peter at the Soho House, we ambled over to new West Village restaurant, Dell’anima (38 Eighth Ave, 212-366-6633), for a late 10:15 reservation time. Over a shared bottle of ‘02 Barbaresco, we had:
- Arugula with lemon and shaved parmigiano
- Braised octopus
- Pizzocheri with sage, potato, brussels sprouts, and fontina
- Black cod
- Almond cake with vanilla gelato
Everything was completely delicious. Undoubtedly one of the best new restaurants to open in NYC in the last couple of months. Make your reservations now.
