I remember when the jumper trend first began two summers ago. I was reluctant to take part in it at first but decided to give it a try last June on a first date. The date went spectacularly well, thanks in no small part to the sexy black backless jumper I had pulled on at the last minute before leaving the apartment.
This one, by Alexander Wang, looks a lot like it except that instead of linen, it’s made out of soft, thin silk and therefore it falls in graceful folds along the body. Who knew that a romper could be so sophisticated? When I found it in Barney’s COOP, I had to buy it.
