This work was among my favorites at the Whitney last night. It’s a lenticular photograph (meaning that it’s 3-dimensional and it moves as you move) by MK Guth. I loved the twisted take on an innocent childhood game of tug-of-war set in a wide open green field. Alas, the bid was up to $1,200 within the first hour of the party (a tad out of this fashion girl’s price range).
