I went to The Little Owl (90 Bedford Street, 212-741-4695) for dinner a couple of weeks ago with bff Alex Weiss. Not only was everything delicious (the pork chop is out of this world, as are the meatball sliders), but they also bring you the check in little books. Ours, as you can see in the picture above, was folded into a Frank Sinatra biography. It’s all about the small, homey touches.
Make sure to call a few weeks ahead for reservations—the tiny space comprised of only 28 seats tends to fill up quickly.
